We’re Working From Home – Stay Safe

by Hannah Smith

In the wake of all of the news, The Chill Times has made the official decision to work from home. We all consider ourselves fortunate enough to have this privilege, and it’s something we do not take for granted. In doing so, over the next week, we will be actively producing content designed to help you navigate the crisis in the best way we know how: by delivering facts, helping to ease anxiety, and telling the stories of those who do not have this opportunity – because whether or not you’re actually sick, this virus is affecting everyone in unimaginable ways.

A gentle but important reminder to keep the new suggested sanitary measures top of mind: Keep washing your hands to whatever tune feels the most uplifting, avoid touching your face (especially the eyes, nose, and mouth), cover your cough with an elbow, take time to disinfect your phone & laptop, and stay indoors as much as you’re able to do so.

Keep in mind that your mental health is just as important as your physical health at this moment, and we encourage you to take the steps you need to feel at ease — whatever that may look like for you.

Remember: This too shall pass, and we’re all in this together.
